Due to demand, we have released an additional date for our popular one day City & Guilds Legionella Awareness training, in Shannon. In addition to the courses we are already running in Belfast on the 14th October and Naas on 15th October, we are now running an event in Shannon on Thursday 16th October. This course will provide delegates with an understanding to the background to Legionella, the diseases it causes; identify where and what it needs to thrive. It is designed to suit staff involved in the management and operation of building water systems and those who have a roll in the control procedures. This one day City & Guilds accredited course in ’Awareness of Legionella risk in building water systems (ACoP L8 HSG274, HSG220 and HTM 04-01)’, has been designed for all staff who need a sound awareness of the operation and management of water systems in buildings.

Date:–  Tuesday 3rd March 2015
Time:-  9am-5pm (Registration at 8.45am)
Location:- The Dakota EuroCentral, Glasgow

The tutor for this training course is David Harper, the world renowned expert in Legionella Control. The course has been written and is delivered by an approved City and Guilds training partner.

Who will benefit?

All staff involved in the management and operation of building water systems and those who have a roll in the control procedures.

This Legionella course has been developed to address the issues that surround Legionella and Legionnaires’ disease, the management and treatment of water systems, health and safety management, current legislation, good practice procedures and a review a selection of outbreaks and incidents.
