The new Asbestos Management Guidelines and what they mean to you
HBE Risk Management is hosting an Asbestos Awareness and Management seminar on Thursday 19th June in Shannon about the HSA’s new Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) in Workplaces: Practical Guidelines on ACM Management and Abatement.
Our guest speakers for this event are Darren Arkins, senior inspector with the Health and Safety Authority and a council member of OHSI, Peter Fitzpatrick and Frances Thomas from HBE and Jennifer Noctor from Ronan Daly Jermyn Solicitors about the legal implications of ignoring your duties.
As Darren heads up the Occupational Hygiene Unit in the Chemical Policy and Services Division of the Authority, and has shaped the new guidance, this is your chance to understand your responsibilities as an employer and/or facilities, building or property manager.
