IOSH Managing Safely

This IOSH course is ideal for getting managers up-to-speed on the skills they need to tackle safety and health issues in the workplace.
The IOSH Managing Safely is a four day course for managers and supervisors in any sector and any organisation. The content is valid for directors, senior officers and health and safety officers in all low risk organisations. We deliver the course either on-site or as an open/public course.
This is a practical programme, full of step-by-step guidance, with a sharp business focus. The hands on, jargon-free IOSH format engages and inspires, and has helped a huge range of businesses to raise standards of safety and health.
Dates: 27 & 28th November & 12 & 13th December 2017 (4 days)
Cost: €600 + €30 IOSH Certificate fee
The course content covers the following:
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance
- Protecting our environment
Each delegate will be issued with an IOSH workbook.
Our health and safety consultants have are highly experienced in both health and safety and delivering effective training.
The course will conclude with a 25 question, multiple format assessment paper and a risk assessment based project.
Successful completion of the course will result in the awarded of an IOSH Managing safely certificate. In line with our ISO14001 environmental targets, training certificates will be submitted in electronic format. Hard copies of the certificate can be provided at an additional cost.
