Fire Safety Awareness Training

Basic Fire Awareness Training is a legal requirement that must be provided by all Employers.

Fire Safety Awareness onsite classroom training

This 2 hour training is delivered on-client site using PowerPoint presentations and fire equipment as training tools.

The course content can be tailored to a level relevant to the requirements of occupancy and as an induction, initial or renewal level training.

To provide delegates with an understanding about:

  • Fire safety legislation
  • The responsibilities of a Fire Warden
  • Basic fire science/Fire classifications
  • Evacuation procedures
  • Means of escape for people with Special Needs
  • Fire prevention
  • Fire-fighting equipment

Certification

Delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance. Please note that in tandem with our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and in line with our ISO14001 targets, training attendance certificates will be submitted in electronic format. Hard copies of the certificate can be provided at an additional cost.

The course will be supported with notes covering all aspects of the course. These notes will be a useful reference material for use in the work place.
