By the end of this course, learners will:

  • List the safety features in buildings.
  • Understand how to use a fire extinguisher.
  • Be able to list fire statistics & current legislation
  • Understand why a fire risk assessment is needed
  • Know preventative measures.
  • Be able to identify the preventative measures.
  • Know the role of a fire marshal.
  • Be able to list the actions to take on discovery of a fire.
  • Understand the importance of fire drills and evacuation.
  • Have an understanding about fire extinguishers.
  • Know about pre-engagement actions.
  • Understand the theory on how to use a fire extinguisher.

Certification

The course consists of 16 modules with questions at the end of each module.

You are given the chance to review all your answers at the end of each module before final submission and you will be given 3 attempts at each module to achieve a pass rate of 70% for modules 1-15 and 100% on module 16.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to download your certificate.
