Healthy HBE hits the hills, roads and pounds the pavements across Ireland & Northern Ireland for Charity

In an epic adventure over May and June, HBE team members are running the Belfast Marathon, the Cork City Marathon and walking the PLOD in the dead of night across the Mourne Mountains to raise money for some worthy charities.

We have two relay teams entered into the Belfast marathon on the 5th May, running for our UK nominated charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

The runners are: Adrian Byrne, Jacqueline Byrne, Christine Swail, Chris Shepherd, Mags Morgan, Neil Bolton, Diane Carson, Ronan Barry, Joan Fitzpatrick and Anne Mullan.

Cork Marathon

We have some brave runners running for St Vincent De Paul, our nominated charity in Ireland, in the Cork City Marathon relay on June 2nd.SVP HBE charity

Action Medical Research HBE CharityThe PLOD Mourne Mountains

And finally, we have three teams walking 50km across the Mourne Mountains throughout the night to raise money for Action Medical Research on the 13th June.

Our walkers are: Adrian Byrne, Pat McDonald, Jarlath Cunningham, Neil Bolton, Peter Fitzpatrick, Chris Shepherd, Christine Swail, Liam Broderick, Frances Thomas, Adem Salim, Kieran O’Hare and Tara Tumilty. Support drivers are Paula Mullan, Marie O’Brien, Fintan Hanna and Nicki Bury.
