It’s time to enter Ireland’s only specialist FM awards! BIFM Ireland Region Facilities Management Recognition Awards 2014
A highlight of the annual conference is the ’BIFM Ireland Region Facilities Management Recognition Awards’, kindly sponsored by VickerStock Engineering Recruitment. This is recognised as one of the most prestigious events in the FM industry and the calibre of past entries is testament to the impact that industry professionals are making across Ireland.
The 2014 independent judging panel of industry experts will include:
- Gareth Tancred– CEO BIFM
- Professor George Heaney – Professor of the Built Environment at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown
- Rebekah Lyons – CEO, Portobello Institute
- Liz Kentish – The FM Coach
1. FM Professional of the Year
This Award recognises outstanding personal and professional performance of an individual employed within facilities management in the private, public or voluntary sectors in Ireland.
2. FM Project of the Year
This Award focuses on the lasting impact of innovative thinking. A ‘major’ project is one that makes a significant contribution to almost every aspect of an organisation’s operating style and affects the majority of its employees. Major projects entered into this category can include any business or building type operating within the private, public or voluntary sectors in Ireland. They may also include projects which primary focus on either ‘hard’ or ‘soft’ processes of FM – or indeed a mix of both.
3. FM Team of the Year
This Award recognises the outstanding contributions made by an in FM team operating within the private, public or voluntary sectors in Ireland.

Complete the entry forms attached. All entries to be clearly marked with category and entrant information and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than 5pm on Thursday 9th October 2014.
Winners will be announced at the BIFM Ireland Region Conference, Titanic Belfast on 14th November 2014 and will receive a trophy and prize to the value of £250.
